The Jibyard 10/12/2009
Today Sean Smith (Clandestino Films) and I went to The Jibyard in Ogden Utah. This facility is awesome for all of your preseason jibbing needs. The setup right now consists of 4 in-runs with 4 rail/box options. The in-runs are made out of the rollers that you might see on an industrial conveyor belt. Rather than moving products in a warehouse, the rollers hurl skiers towards a rail or box at just the right speed in order to provide terrain park like skiing all year long. My name is Josh Christensen. I grew up in Salt Lake City. I learned to ski at the age of 5 at Solitude ski resort just 15 minutes east of my home. The older I get, the more I ski. I now hold a job as a 'gearhead' at Backcountry.com. Along with the gearhead job position comes a lot of ski time and a ton of gear knowledge.
