2008/2009 4Frnt EHP 186 - Review

Bottom Line: This ski is really awesome. If this ski were a person it would have the strength of a big mountian skier with the heart of a jibber.  The ski truly does charge, it does especially well in chop/crud conditions, but it has enough playfullness in the tail that you can still have fun on the ski when the conditions aren't ideal.  It is a ski that will allow you to charge, but if you arent 100% on your game it won't punish you either.  A really fun ski!

Pros:  Stiff.  Poppy.  This is a great ski for somewhere like Snowbird or Jackson if you can only have 1 ski in your quiver. It feels more tapered and rockered in the tip than it is, so you can still slarve on it fairly well.

Cons:  Would be nice if it were slightly fatter and slightly more rockered (see 4Frnt Renegade).  Some heavier skiers I know say that because this ski isn't as stiff, they don't like it as much. For someone less than 180lbs it is fairly stiff but still playful.
