2008/2009 Scott P3 - 178 - Review
Bottom Line: This ski is awesome. I have been using this ski as my go-to park ski over the last year. It has a fairly stiff flex pattern, making it a great all mountain park ski. It is a very playful ski, very poppy, very light, and very fun. This is one of the most under rated park skis on the market.
Pros: The ski has a very low swing weight. It is a very light ski, fairly stiff, and very poppy. This ski handles the entire mountain well but is at home in the park. The top sheet is very durable. Cons: After sliding a ton of rails on this ski, rather than the edge wearing down, the base of the ski actually delaminated from the core material. Its not surprising since I ski my park skis hard, but I have never seen this type of delamination before. Otherwise, the ski is perfect for park skiing. UPDATE: I just bought another pair of these skis, that is how much they rip in the park! |
