Backcountry.com Stoic Inbounds Glove Review
Bottom Line: The Backcountry.com Inbounds Glove is my favorite glove this year! No, it isn't goretex. No, it isn't super insulated. None of that really effects the performance of this glove. The Leather is really thick, but not bulky feeling at all. This is honestly the best fitting glove I have ever used. I am generally between a medium or large in most gloves. I wear a size medium in this glove. My hand is 7.5 inches long and 8 inches around. . It i dexterous enough to keep your glove on while reaching in your pockets, but warm enough to wear as an everyday inbounds or backcountry glove. I can't say enough good about this glove.
Pros: On warm days this glove can get a little sweaty but they liner dries out very quickly because it is Merino Wool. I have used this glove 50 or 60 times and it is holding up great. I usually have a problem with my gloves getting really stinky. The merino wool in this glove keeps them smelling fresh. Cons: The cuff feels really tight at first and is difficult to get on. Some people equate this with the glove being too small. In all reality, no matter what size glove you get, the cuff will be hard to get over your wrist. The cuff will stretch out over time and becomes easier to get on your hand. It never really becomes an "easy" glove to put on though. Once it is on your hand it feels great! |
